Default Windows XP SP2 Beta Build 2082

My experience of the beta SP2 is that Windows will no longer start on
my PC. I have had to go back and recover XP from the CD. It has been
a waste of several hours. All I wanted was a fix to file sharing
which is reported as being part of SP2. I could have obtained it
seperately from MS but my support agreement has now expired and I
think I would have to pay. So now I will wait until SP2 is tried and
tested later this summer.

Well, you see this is what happens when people don't read things carefully.
Had you read that hotfix blurb carefully you wouldn't have wasted all that
time. Suggest you go back and read it again. Carefully this time.
