Default "Open With" Menu Box Question

hi, I want to delete some programs from the "open with" menu box (for
opening graphic files), the one that contains the "recommended programs"
and "other programs" lists. You can't do it by right clicking or
highlighting and deleting. I even searched for folders called
"recommended programs" and "other programs" but couldn't find any.
Help! Thanks.

This can be modified in regedit.
Start, Run, Type: regedit

HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1131426265-79857088-3472284960-1006\Software\Microsoft\
Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts

Select the extension you want to modify, choose "OpenWithList" and delete
the value you want removed from the list of programs.

Know how to restore the registry if problems arise. Corruption can cause XP
to fail.
