Default printer problem

I use a login script that maps LPT1 to a print que.
(example: net use lpt1: \\server\printerque)
Since I upgraded from W2K to WinXP I get a system 5 error
(access denied) from my poweruser account. It still works
fine as administrator.

Default printer problem

Dear Bryan,

I suggest you try the following:

1. Try to disable the LPT port in the system BIOS. This should free up
that particular
resource, so that LPT1 port can be remapped a network printer.

2. Try to map LPT2 and configure the DOS application to
print to LPT2 port.

Hope the information above helps you.
