Default movie maker and photostory

I am running xp fully updated. I have created a slideshow in Movie Maker 3
,also same slideshow in Photostory but I cannot burn the file, which is wmv
format, to a video cd using Nero 6.6 and Ashampoo Burning Studio. I have
done it before but I am at a loss to remember how.any help would be
appreciated

OK...you want a VCD (Video CD) and not
DVD (Video DVD)?

The trial version of the following software
will make a VCD that is playable on most
free standing DVD players.

WinDVD Creator 3
http://tinyurl.com/6xb6za
or...
http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satelli...3#tabview=tab4

Steps to create a simple VCD.

No guarantees but the following steps work for me.

Download and install the WinDVD Creator software.

Open WinDVD Creator

On the opening screen...choose...Start New Project...

On the main screen...double left click the right pane
to open the 'Import Media Files' window.

Browse to and select the .wmv Video Clip you wish to
burn on the VCD.

Drag the clip to the timeline at the bottom of the screen.

Insert a blank CD in your burner.

Left click the 'Make Movie' button.

On the first screen...left click the Arrow (next)

On the next screen...Choose...Format - VCD

Be sure TV System is NTSC.

Left click the 'Burn' button.

Wait until the VCD is created.

hi john
I had trouble downloading WinDVD Creator. I started over again and created
the slideshow with Nero VisionExpress. I confess I find Movie Maker and
PhotoStory easier to use but needs must as they say. I have made a note of
what you suggested and will try it again at a later date. All the best to
you and yours
alan
