I want to start writing an email, but this will take days. How can I save this as a draft? |

Personal preference, but I never trust any email program to save an important and long document as a draft. Been burned too many times. I use notepad or other text editor to compose the letter a bit at a time then copy and paste the contents to the emailer when done and send. |

Yes, this is what I'm doing now, for the Outlook10 system is complicated for the casual user. |

A word processor is set up to create and save draft documents. In this way you creation could not be easily changed and you would not have to worry if the person receiving the document has the proper soft ware to open the document. -- 2018: The year we learn to play the great game of Euchre |
