Most people use windows. LibreOffice is now up to version 5, and I have it installed on a copy of Windows 10. You can open a PDF in LibreOffice, but it opens in Draw rather than Writer. Still, for a person like yourself, you'll get a laugh out of the mess it makes of a PDF. Give it a try. Libreoffice is free. Paul |
