winlogon.exe file
Fritz, take a look here.
http://forums.anandtech.com/messagev...nterthr ead=y Did you look for the file in C:\Windows\System32 Folder? If it's not there and if you have a WinXP CD Go to StartRun type: msconfig Click on "Expand File" in lower Right and then follow the Instructions. "Fritz" washi3_at_hotmail.com wrote in message ... Hi, I have an error message every time that I boot my computer WIN XP Pro Edition that the file C:\WINDOWS\system32\services\winlogon.exe is missing as requested in registry. How can I fix this? I do not know if it is because of a virus that I deleted OR per haps I accidentally deleted that file (C:\WINDOWS\system32\services\winlogon.exe). Can I reinstall that file or find what is asking for this file in registry, etc.?? I have tried eveything now for one month but no success..... Tx for your help. F |
