Default DNS Name Resolution not working

I had exasctly the same problem today. KB suggests
running netsh int ip reset [log_file_name], but that made
no difference. I want an answer too.

-----Original Message-----
I have a Dial-up modem connection to my ISP. I am

getting
my IP Information from the local ISP and can ping all
gateway and server addresses. I can ping the DNS
servers. However, abolutely no name resolution is

taking
place....

I have tried resetting IP settings to default values and
have disabled all Firewalls. Local LAN adapter has

been
disabled. Have tried deleting and recreating Dial-up
Connection to ISP.

Any Ideas ??

Thanks for any assistance.
