Default Agere Win Modem


Not to sound stupid but where do I find my bIOS settings at? I did a
search on my computer and I found all kinds of different files but I
dident know witch one to click.Thanks for your help.

Missy, keep posts about one subject in one thread. It is OK to ask a
question like this - you are not stupid just because you don't know
this stuff. To get into the BIOS, you press a key (or combination of
keys) when the computer is first starting up. The particular key
depends on your motherboard. Usually you will see the message at the
bottom of the very first screen. It will say something like "Press DEL
to enter Setup". Or F12, F2, etc.

Once you are in Setup (BIOS), you will carefully look around for an
option called "Wake On Lan" and disable it. Navigate through the BIOS
Setup with your arrow keys - your mouse will not work there.
