Default Windows 10 -Program installed but no App

My windows 10 is o.k.

Yesterday I installed a TAX-program, but I cannot find it under START-
All Apps. There is no entry. So I cannot attach any app to launch.
I can start the program from the Exe-file without any problems.

Do you have any solutions for me?

If it start from the .exe just create a shortcut to the desktop.

If it start from the .exe just create a shortcut to the desktop.

Using File Explorer open the Program Files (x86) folder.

By clicking the file heading Date Created, or Date Modified, the last
folder created, the one with your tax program should be the most recent
at the top of the list.

You should be able to open your tax program by click the exe file. Once
you have it right click and attach to the start memu or to the desktop
taskbar.

Try typing the name of the file in the search box. The magnifier glass on taskbar. You can try different names as
suggested earlier. Intuit, block, etc.
Also since it's new, just scroll down the all apps. Any new program is marked with the word 'new' far right on the
list. It should be easy to spot. If you don't find it there, then maybe it's not.
Also go to Control Panel - Programs and Features and see if it's in the list. If not there then there really was an issue.

I use Agnitum Outpost Security Suite, which is shown everywhere as
Outpost SS. Under all APPS it is listed as Agnitum.
Maybe it is listed under another name. I don't use Turbotax, but it
could be listed as Intuit. Pure guess !!

Ken1943

I'using Kaspersky Internet Security. In the past I had no Problems.

There may be multiple exe files depending on the way the main program is
written, so you must experiment by trying to run each from the folder.
When you find the one that gives the main program right click to the
icon to attach it to the start menu, and reboot the computer.
