Printer printing too small
We have windows xp, and a Lekmark printer connected. The problem is
the printer prints very small, and I've searched how to fix that, and found where someone said click on file, then, print setup. Well this computer doesn't have a print setup but it has this under file- New Tab New Window Open Edit with Notepad Save As Close Tab Page Setup Print Preview Send Import and Export Propierties Work Offline Exit I would really appreciate it if someone would tell me how my printer could print larger. Thanks in advance, James Moore |

Printer printing too small
Different applications can have different print sizes.
You appear to be talking about Internet Explorer( IE7 or IE8) here, so try File-Page Setup. IE8 has more options, so please specify your version. ....Alan -- Alan Edwards, MS MVP Windows - Internet Explorer http://dts-l.com/index.htm On Tue, 19 May 2009 15:38:04 -0700 (PDT), in microsoft.public.windowsxp.basics, James wrote: We have windows xp, and a Lekmark printer connected. Thanks in advance, James Moore Has this printer ever behaved, is it new? A good generic test would be to right click your default printer, Properties and Print Test Page. That should be easily readable and have colors (if you are using color). Then you know the basics are set up right. How does that work for you? If you try to print from some program (MS Word for example) and it is then too small and your Test Page works the solution will likely be a setting in your other other software. Maybe the font size is too small, or it thinks you are printing on a envelope. Also try Print Preview as suggested - save a wasted page. If it doesn't look close to right there, something needs adjusting. If you still have trouble, say what program you are using to print - Internet Explorer, Firefox, MS Word, etc. Jose |

You may well be right but we need to get the OP focused on the source and not the printer. -- Regards. Gerry ~~~~ FCA Stourport, England Enquire, plan and execute ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Alan Edwards wrote: Internet Explorer. ...Alan James What is the source of the document you are trying to print? |
