Default Microsoft Power Point Problems

I am using Microsoft Office 12 (pre release trial version). I was using
Office 2000 previously. Now I am unable to open Power points which I made
with Office 2000 with this pre release. It is showing Power point cant read.
How I can rectify it

If you trial period has expired, you will need to purchase the full product
in order to get the continued benefit of using it..

You may be able to open the file in another competing program, but you will
still have had to purchase something, and there is no guarantee that it
would look exactly the same if opened by something other than Power Point..

I see a visit to a computer store, be it in your locality or online, coming
very soon..

There is a free alternative.. it is called Open Office and requires
downloading.. I have never used it, and will guarantee nothing at all.. as
with all things computer, you use it at your own risk..

I believe if you just want to view powerpoint presentations, MS has a
download for just the viewer of powerpoint 97 and later. Hope this helps.
