I should have said "the duplicate entry in the box (the second one)" When I typed in "config.sys" this returned the "System Configuration" screen. http://tinypic.com/m/iw4sud/1 It had a duplicate entry under the present one, so I deleted it and this fixed it. I discoved this solution quite by accident, on the way to get rid of a startup program. |
