Win 7 Restore Points
What is the easiest way to simply VIEW what System Restore Points have
been made? All I can find is a link to restore my computer, or to make a new restore point ... and I don't want to risk having a system restore BEGIN when all I want to do ... is see if I have any. Is it true that a new one is made every 24 hrs, meaning there would only be one, if I have not made any? FWIW, I don't use the Windows backup system. I've been making backups to an external hard drive with Memeo. XP was so much easier for me to navigate and understand. bj |

You have to actually select one and click Next to do the restore, so just cancel on the screen that lists the restore points. Be sure to click the checkbox to show more restore points, if available. |

Does it bother anyone besides me, that is the only way to see them? sigh Thanks for your response, and the tip on clicking to see more restore points. bj |

I set a restore point before I do anything I haven't tried before. Macrium image backups much less frequently. |
