Win7 SP1 Office10

I wonder where the Word10 program is kept on the computer. I can find
Wordpad & Notebook but any one of the Office10 suite is invisible.

Do a search and you'll find it.

But note that there is no "Word10" nor Office 10. I'm assuming you
mean Word 2010 and Office 2010.

Try looking for a Microsoft Office folder, in the applicable Program
Files folder.

Word 10 is part of Office 10 and should be located
at C:\program files\Microsoft Office\Office 10.

I think office 10 came out in 2001.
I probably have a copy around here somewhere.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office14
and Excel too

Perhaps, but I'm almost sure he didn't mean that. Those numbers are
almost never used. He almost certainly meant Office 2010, aka Office
14.

Yes, Office *14*. As I suggested in another message a few moments ago,
you meant Office 2010 (aka Office 14), not Office 10. Please be
careful to use the correct name for things, lest you confuse those
trying to help you and therefore get incorrect answers, like the one
quoted above.

It pays to ask. I never heard of Office "14".

Yes, as I said, the version numbers for Microsoft Office products are
almost never used. We almost all use the marketing name (in this case,
Office 2010) instead.

Again, please be careful to use a correct name so you get correct
answers and don't confuse all of us. You can call what you have Office
2010 or Office 14 (although since Office 2010 is much more widely
used, it's a much better choice). But do not call it Office 10.

14 is the version number e.g. Word 2010 is 14.0.7151.5001 when the
latest Service Pack 2 is installed.
