What are and where are the Microsoft Windows 7 addons to replace stuff removed in Windows 7?
Partially answering my own question and expanding:
I have heard people say that Microsoft has some downloads available that replace programs that were around in XP and Vista but not included in Windows 7. Live Mail (from I don't know where at Microsoft is a suggested replacement for Outlook Express and some other Microsoft mail thing. However, Live stuff has too much baggage, so I am still looking for an Outlook Express email replacement. [Forte Agent is somewhat of a replacement, but one would need an export from OE files and import to Agent utility to get started]) Virtual machine support for XP from I don't know where at Microsoft is added functionality that is needed. I'm still looking for the exact information for the virtual machine support and Live Mail since I couldn't find the correct links, only many that weren't the correct links - I'm probably leaving out or adding a keyword that Google or the search on Microsoft needs. There may be some other programs that are available from Microsoft to replace lost functionality that it would be nice to hear about. Does anyone know the URL for these downloads (which are probably somewhere on on microsoft.com? Thank you. |

I had 2.0, and it wasn't much better than the other available stuff, but 3.0 is good. Give it a try. www.mozilla.com |
