“This copy of Windows is not genuine”
On an old system that I haven't started up for some time I got this
message at the lower right of my screen. I searched for a fix and came upon this http://temcam.com/2013/10/25/how-to-...genuine-error/ As it says I used the CMD (run as administrator) and entered SLMGR -REARM and hit return. I rebooted and all was well. Now a few days later I get the same message. Is anyone familiar with a direct fix? I've read about other fixes but I'd like to get a first hand account of what really works to set this installation straight. Thanks for any suggestions. Al. |
