Fed up
Josh,
Good thought but I'd already checked that out. I don't use outlook express and there are no accounts set up in that program and I set the options as well just in case it was affecting the messenger. Thanks though. Mike -----Original Message----- I may be way off base on this one but you can give it a shot. Outlook Express is tied in pretty tight w/ MSN Messanger so open both of them and check out some of the options. Outlook express has one where it will disconnect when done sending and receiving messages. I'm wondering if that's affecting your messanger or maybe msn messanger has a similar setting within it. Hope this helps. -----Original Message----- I run a 2 computer home network. I use a desktop running XP home and my girlfriend runs a laptop with W2000 pro. For a looong time now, well over 6 months, we've had problems running Messenger. My SO always runs wm 5. I *have* to use windows messenger 4.7 or 5 because if I use msn messenger then every time someone sends me a message or I even open a screen to send someone a message... I get logged off. I've written to this forum a couple of times before and gotten no answers and now I'm really really fed up with the whole thing... especially because I actually do *want* to use messenger! Please please please What's happening and how do I get to use msn messenger? Regards Mike . . |
