Default Default Save As directory

In all of the programs I use, the Save As command always point to C:/My
Documents. Is it possible to change things so that the command defaults to a
different directory on another drive?

"C:/My Documents" is not a default win folder, did you create it, or
redirect the default My Documents folder?

The answere to your Q may depend on the individual Programs, which in their
settings may allow you to specify a default location.

There must be. My My Documents is empty.

Jeff,

Depends on which program you are talking about

Things like MS Office 2003 for example have options like TOOLS | OPTIONS |
FOLDER LOCATIONS
