Default updates

after installing the latest updates from microsoft, my
computer freezes and othe weird things, my friends are
experiencing the same thing, i think it was one of the
critical updates, what to do/

Hi tjajm,
Goto add/remove programs in the control panel and uninstall the new 'Windows
XP Hotfix (SP2) Q811493', this can sometimes cause Windows to react very
slowly.
