Default Partitioned Hard Drive

My PC (running XP Home) hard drive is partitioned into C
and D drives. Some software is installed on C: and some
on D:. Is there any way to move all of the programs to
the C: drive?

Default Partitioned Hard Drive

Hi Stuart,

Uninstall them from D, reinstall them on C. This is the only safe way. There
are some utilities available that will work to move some programs, but I've
yet to see one that is reliable enough to move any program (particularly
larger ones with thousands of registry entries and pointers in the system
folders).
