It is not that I have so many errors, it is that when I *DO* show errors you
cannot replicate them:

Peter Köhlmann :
-----
Without *any* exception I could not reproduce the "errors" he
claims exist in KDE.
----
Bug reports based on the videos: https://goo.gl/4GKaP9.
You simply were not competent enough to replicate bugs on KDE even when you
saw them in videos!

Then again, maybe you could just not figure out how to even view the videos!

Peter :
-----
Did you make the video unreadable for some reason? There is no
such entry in Finder. So you naturally had to obscure the video
...
You showed nothing. You showed a video which is unreadable
...
I knew that you would come up with a trick like this. So now you
lied by not making readable what you really clicked on
-----

You could not figure out how to view this video: https://youtu.be/JFQOgBkCkSM

Did you even figure out how to? I might suggest to either Quit or Exit your
app and then restart it, but you have shown you do not even really get what
Quit and Exit are!

Peter Köhlmann :
-----
The apps with "Quit" do *not* exit, they continue to run
in the background
-----
Had Peter known how to use "top" he would know he was wrong:
http://tmp.gallopinginsanity.com/top.mov

But even if you *DID* get to the point you could view a YouTube video,
something you never showed you could, would you understand what was happening
on the page?

Peter Köhlmann:
-----
I have a pretty good idea why you try to avoid sites like YouTube:
They can be commented. And you fear the comments more than
everything else
-----

Snit:
-----
You can block comments on YouTube.
-----

Peter Köhlmann :
-----
Really? Do you really think that your Firefox extension will still
work? Why would YouTube allow to disable comments? They have
activly disabled all extensions which tried to do that And the
mere fact that you know about disabling comments (even if it does
not work anymore) shows that you have tried to do just that.
Because you can't stand having comments about your idiocy
-----

That's right: you think it would take a Firefox extension (that no longer
works) for me to block comments on the videos *I* post. I did make a video for
you on that one:

http://youtu.be/iFFF_DQPgiI

Too bad you likely will not be able to figure out how to view that. LOL!

We can go on and on... you really have no room to talk about people making
tech errors.

Really? They have INTEL virtualization tech on their ARM chips?

Er. Apple is being cheeky with what they're calling the new
technology. They are actually using the terminonology, Apple silicon
to describe the entire layered process. In this case, the confusion
you experienced is Apples fault; not mine. Most of us would consider
Silicon to be talking about the chip and only the chip itself, not
included API level software. But in Apples case, it's rolled into
one.

Why do you need so many words to explain that you are an idiot?

I wasn't being an idiot. Have you not been paying attention to the
side discussion where this started? I was primarily making the point
that Snit doesn't know the difference between emulation and
virtualization.. as Nospam, and myself have pointed out. Is there a
particular reason you've opted to try and come to snits defense here?

Emulation is NOT the same thing as virtualization, stupid.

Says the guy who knows jack **** about INTEL / ARM

Various papers I have from Intel would tend to disagree with your
remarks, but that's all besides the point. You are welcome to your
opinion, even if, especially in this case, it's based on pure
ignorance on your part.

I consider nospam to be an expert concerning Macs the majority of the
time. I disagree concerning some of their circuit designs, but the
end user isn't going to give a **** and most likely will never see
those aspects of their computer anyway. Aside from our personal
differences of opinion concerning that, I have yet to find fault with
anything Nospam has shared concerning mac on a technical level.

Nospam shares material which can easily be fact checked, too. So...

Here's what he wrote to Snit about the subject:

Message-ID:
http://al.howardknight.net/?ID=159668521600

Snit *a copy/paste job* wrote:

Mac users who rely on Windows virtualization software might be
left in the lurch when Apple transitions to its own custom ARM
processors later this year, as the company's Rosetta Intel-to-ARM
translator does not support virtual machine apps.

Apple outlined Rosetta's ? technically Rosetta 2's ? limitations
in a developer document posted to its website this week, noting
that while it can translate "most" Intel-based apps, it is unable
to do the same for virtual machine apps that handle x86_64
computer platforms. Popular x86_64 virtualization apps include
products from Parallels and VMWare that virtualize Windows
environments.

Nospam responded with:

that's about rosetta, not hardware support for virtualization.

you are once again moving the goalposts as well as being very
confused about the difference between virtualization and emulation.

intel, amd and future apple silicon cpus have virtualization support
in hardware. full stop.

If you have newer information, or anything directly from Apple
which says otherwise, I would love to hear it.

no you wouldn't, since not only is it not new, but it's already been
explained to you several times and every time you fail to understand
it.

And so far Boot Camp (native booting of Windows, the only way to
run Windows on a Mac that Apple directly supports) also seems to
be a non-starter.

nope. for intel macs, *both* boot camp *and* running windows in a
virtual machine are both fully supported by apple, which has been the
case for roughly the past fifteen years.

that obviously will change with apple silicon, where x86 versions of
windows would need to be emulated, something which is up to third
party developers.

windows on arm could run natively on apple silicon, either boot camp
or virtualized, but only if microsoft chooses to port it and change
their licensing agreements, and in particular, improve their x86
emulation for running existing x86 windows apps, which is currently
rather poor. otherwise, there is no reason to bother.

** end share

So you were saying about my being an idiot?

Poor Snit. Still trying to convince people that you don't use "David_B" as a
sock? Who in his right mind would accept those incredibly incompetent
YouTube videos you made as something other as to have a good laugh?

Show a YouTube video which YOU have made, Peter.

Here's one of mine (I am NOT Snit!)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bChBP-6LY3Q

Sorta mesmerizing.

Do you watch it on your iMac?

Yes. And then I used my FireFox plugin to turn off comments.

I'll ask you about that if I ever find it necessary!

I still want Peter to show he knows how to VIEW a YouTube video!

Peter :
-----
Did you make the video unreadable for some reason? There is no
such entry in Finder. So you naturally had to obscure the video
...
You showed nothing. You showed a video which is unreadable
...
I knew that you would come up with a trick like this. So now you
lied by not making readable what you really clicked on
-----

The video is STILL available: https://youtu.be/JFQOgBkCkSM

I went into more detail elsewhere... where he also thinks that one needed a
special FireFox extension to turn off comments (a simple click in the YouTube
settings).

Peter doesn't sound like someone I want to get to know!

He shares the arrogance of nospam and Gremlin but either knows less or at
least posts more incorrect information. As he attacks folks.

It got so silly I started keeping a list. Whenever he attacks me and insists I
am always wrong or whatever I just pull up some examples for him. There is
almost always an example at least somewhat relevant.

We ALL make mistakes -- but I do not think he has ever admitted to any of his
I quote to him.

Gremlin's BIGGEST mistake was failing to recognise that BD is a good guy
trying to act in the best interests of others - just as you do! :-)

It was made mostly for my students. Pretty amazed to have so many
subscribers.

Perhaps you can capitalise on that audience?

Food for thought! ;-)

Gremlin, Raid/SLAM, Diesel, Dustin J Cook is a *LIAR*

David is a drunk, regardless of what he claims, he's a drunk.

No, Dustin, I'm not! :-D

Heh, David, for medical reasons, you can't quit cold turkey you
can't even slowly ween yourself off of it without medical
attention. So, enough with the facade that you aren't still, very
much, a drunkard.

You pretend to know more about his life than he does. This is
dishonest of you. Have you ever considered being honest AND kind?

I'm not pretending anything and i'm not in any way being dishonest as
I describe Davids long term alcohol abuse. Fact is, medically
speaking, you cannot quit cold turkey; that can put you into a coma
and kill you. You have to have medical assistance to ween your body
off the alcohol as at Davids levels, it became dependent on it.

*YOU ARE A LIAR, DUSTY* - I STOPPED - COLD TURKEY - on 21 March 2018

I am not dead! :-P

David lost a friendship over his excessive drinking, and he told me
his version of the events. Along with accusing me of hacking into his
computers. He wouldn't tell me how that would have helped me learn of
his drinking problem, though. It was just another false accusation he
made against me.

I accept that you FAILED to break into any of my computers.

As for what I know of his personal life, he shared all kinds of
details with me via email; when he was trying to CON ME into breaking
into two servers he didn't own or have any permission to access.

David and I had no issues snit, until he tried to dox me, for
refusing his offer of payment to break into those servers; after he
already asked me several times beforehand, he goes and offers money
to see if I'll change my mind. I didn't. So for that, David tries to
dox me to get my attention and things have gone to what you see today
between us.

You have ALWAYS been confused about this.

There's much you know nothing about. David is playing you like a
drum.

You're quick to forget, and David isn't being very honest, but he
reached out to me for a specific skillset I have, Snit. A skillset
which can easily make you my bitch, irl, if I so desire.

I recommend that Snit makes a paper copy of the BULLYING you are just
about to undertake

He wanted me to use that skillset to break into those servers for
him. He has neglected to mention just how much of a known blackhat
hacker I was at one point. You think I'm harmless and that I can't do
anything to you, but, David knows better than that. He tried to
recruit me for what he knows about my abilities, asshat. You really
are trying to play games with the wrong one. And eventually, you
might learn that the hard way. And I'll mock you as I 0wn your sorry
ass, if it gets to that point. I sure will.

*MORE THREATS* ..........

Your threats of popo don't phase me in the least little bit, I'm well
versed on digital forensics and appropriate counter measures. At some
point, I'm going to stop pussyfooting around with you on usenet, and
you'll answer for the bull**** you've been writing, whether you want
to or not. I'd prefer a peaceful resolution, but at this point, I'm
okay with other options.

I really don't like liars and stalkers, and I damn sure don't like
those who try that **** with me. If you continue down this road with
me, I'm going to run you right into a telephone pole, Snit. But
first, I will release your seatbelt, so that you experience the full
effect the first time around.

*BE AFRAID* - BE VERY AFRAID!

I've offered to share all kinds of actual, real, evidence (not the
bull**** you think is evidence) and you've continually declined the
offer. Which is fine, but that doesn't change the fact the evidence
exists which supports everything I've written about David Brooks.

Keep it up jerkoff, and you'll be begging me to leave you alone. And
no amount of begging at that point is going to save you. This is your
chance, you aren't getting another one later.

Snit will be shaking in his boots, I'm sure.

Gremlin really freaked out over his lie about you drinking.

He's always had difficulty with handling the truth. :-(
