Run as Administrator from taskbar
Run as Administrator from taskbar
I believe I found the answer. Right drag the .exe file on to the desktop and select create shortcuts. Right click the shortcut icon. Select properties. Left click advanced. Left click Run as administrator to tick. Left click on ok and ok. Left drag shortcut to taskbar. Simples, no? |

Can't you just right click the new shortcut and just pick pin to taskbar rather than drag? Either way, it works for me. I'm into customizing things too, and icons are one of them. Not all, but a few programs I have I hate the default icons and ironically the exe sometimes has several and some better. That or download from google images. But changing the desktop shortcut first then pin to taskbar works, where pinning and then trying to change it does not work. IIRC, it's been a while since I did any on win10. Al |
