No it does not.
You either end up with .Net being installed by a software application that requires .Net so the application installs the version of ..Net it requires. Or you installed .Net by choosing one or more versions from the list of "Optional Updates" when using Windows Update. For more detail see: "NET Framework - Disk space requirements, Part 1" http://www.pagestart.com/netframeworkpart1.html JS http://www.pagestart.com "Roland" wrote in message ... Thanks in advance. -Ajay No, you must download and install it before use. To install .NET Framework on XP you must: - Have at least SP2 - Have Windows Installer 3.1+ (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/893803) installed **May require reboot** - At least 500 MB space can be used, so make sure you have enough space to install. - .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/netf.../aa569263.aspx) - .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 ReadMe (http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...SP1Readme.htm), in case you have any problems. -- Colton *Reply to newsgroups. |
