For the last week or two my monitor has not been powering off as it is set
to do in Power Options. In the past this has been cured by changing the setting (e.g. arbitrarily selecting 15 mins instead of 20 mins) and re-booting my XP PC (a fairly rare event, as I like it on pretty well permanently). But lately that's not fixed it. Any ideas please? -- Terry, East Grinstead, UK |

Set the screensaver to blank, and set it to kick in at 15 minutes. Then, set
up the power options to turn off the monitor in 20 minutes. "Terry Pinnell" wrote in message ... For the last week or two my monitor has not been powering off as it is set to do in Power Options. I had the same problem, Terry. On different computers. I think it happened
after a MS update. T. "Terry Pinnell" wrote in message ... "Klaatu Barada Nikto" wrote: Set the screensaver to blank, and set it to kick in at 15 minutes. Then, set up the power options to turn off the monitor in 20 minutes. Thanks, that fixed it! -- Terry, East Grinstead, UK |
