Default Line is busy!

Am running Win XP Pro SP3 and trying to get Fax Console v5.1 to work. I hear
a dial tone, I hear the numbers being dialed, I hear a sound as if the number
at the other end is ringing, but I also hear another sound... a bleep...
which I don;t hear when I phone any fax number from a handset or via
Hyperterminal. Then the ringing tone changes to an engaged tone and I get the
message "Line is busy", when I know that the lines are not busy. I also know
that the calls are not being completed successfully and the destination fax
modems are not having the chance to respond.

Any suggestions? (needless to say I have been through every menu option)

Also, how can see the exact number that Fax Console is dialing? (In fax
monitor, I might see 44 20 71xxx xx, but what if there are erroneous numbers
being dialed before the 44? How do I see that?

Best regards,
Adam
