In the target box put the address, something like this; C:\Users\Ed\Pictures\ZMiscellany\2020 Next hit WinKey+R, and enter; "Shell:sendto" without quotes. Hit OK, and drop the shortcut in with the rest. Also the technique for any editing, or removal, of existing Send-to shortcuts. Good luck. Ed |

I use IrfanView and can select 14 different locations to copy/move files to. |

But it's not populated with Explorer Shellex stuff. [W7 and W10 version of "Windows Photo Viewer" appear to be the same] https://i.postimg.cc/zfxSddn3/windows-photo-viewer.gif rundll32 photoviewer.dll, imageview_fullscreen C:\remote.jpg # launch And I can't find any examples of anyone modifying it. Windows Photo Viewer does have other controls. There is a "Copy" option in the right-click menu. Paul |

Ed Thank you, I have made a folder in the SendTo folder and I can work this OK from File Explorer. But I can't access it from the 'Windows Photo Viewer' nor 'Photo' full screen to send or copy to that SendTo folder. I can 'Make a Copy' to any specified folder from the viewers above from the File Menu at the top left of the screen from the viewers, but annoyingly I have to select the destination folder every time I copy an image; that folder cannot be made a short-term default. Still, it's better than nothing. |

By Photo Viewer I assume you mean a Win 10 app. Contact the developer or use a different program to view your pictures. I use IrfanView and can select 14 different locations to copy/move files to. Thanks this works OK when using the F8 key. |

Thank, I downloaded the Faststone and am checking it out. The Irfanview seems good though. What do you need in an image/photo viewer? o Each image editor does different things better than the others. For example... o Nothing is faster than Irfanview, for example, for viewing photos/images. Irfanview can do many quick edits & batch operations but it's not a "photo editor" nor an "image editor" (they're considered different in key ways). a. viewer b. image editor c. photo editor d. artwork creation etc. I have many of the most recommended installed on my system, e.g., cd c:\app\editor\pic dir /b artweaver faststone fotor fotosketcher ghostscript gimp imagemagick inkscape irfanview jsware_crop krita morph ms_paint paint.net paintshoppro_freeware paintstar photodemon photoshop_freeware photopad pinta vicman_last_good_version xnview That doesn't count the vector and/or cad editors, e.g., cd c:\app\editor\cad dir /b blender draftsight freecad fusion360 inkscape sketchup For more information, there's rec.photo.digital o http://tinyurl.com/rec-photo-digital -- If I had to recommend just _one_ image editor (for what I do a lot, which is editing screenshots with callouts, texts, and arrows), it would be Paint.NET (even as I hate having to install .NET Framework for it). |

As far as I can gather from what you've told us, this is what I'd do; make the view option of the relevant photo folders "large"; and then surf them with WinExplorer. Ed |

Can these 'Large' be made even larger? While viewing a folder containing photos in Windows file explorer, you can press and hold the control key and then spin the mouse wheel to progressively enlarge (Extra large icons) or make smaller (Small icons). You could also set the thumbnail size using a registry key: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Exp lorer If "ThumbnailSize" isn't there, create a new 32-bit DWORD and set the value to a number between 32 and 256 (larger is bigger). |
