Go to Windows Explorer\Documents and Settings\User Name\ Local Settings\Application Data (hidden file). In the right pane: IconCache.db To clear your cache: Right click the Desktop/Properties/Appearance/ Advanced/Icons. Change the pixel by one number apply/ok. Revert.
