"fax printer" problems with XP's fax console

Default "fax printer" problems with XP's fax console

Recently installed a Canon MP730 multifunctional but "fax
console" does not recognise that a fax printer is
installed. The device is listed under control
panel/printers and faxes.

Does this printer show up as a Modem under your phond and modem settings?
