Default logging on

i am on my sons comp right now and i recently had or still have a virus or
worm and adware on my comp. now when i try to log on the internet on my comp
it will not connect even though network connections says the modem is
connected the computer is not recognizing the conection what can i do to
resolve this?

Download Malwarebytes to your son's computer, then use a floppy or thumb
drive to get the file to your infected machine. Install, update the
definitions, and run.

Afterwards, try these:

NETSH

Click Start, Run, type:

netsh winsock reset

Press Enter key

Restart the system
