Default Remote Desktop App

Presently working with a Vista Ultmate Desktop and an XP Pro [SP3] laptop
both connected via ethernet to a multiport wireless router. Both have been
enabled to be connected to. According to a Microsoft how to I cannot find
the app in Accessories, Communications, ? There was supposed to be a remote
desktop window where one could enter \\192.168.2.103 the present Desktop IP
address. The terminal services download cannot be downloaded as the RDP
terminal services 6 client is apparently older that what the latest service
pack included. Looking for the last link to connect to the desktop.
Guidance sought

Just type mstsc.exe via the Start/Run box. It is installed by default.
