Default Printing (session printing)

I have setup an XP Pro workstation for a user to remote in.

There are certain printer that would not show up correctly when the user
logs in. I want the user to be able to use his/her local printers (session
printing).

Do I have to add the printer queue locally.

Some of the newer HP printers shown up correctly without doing anything.

TIA,
