Why do YOU have so many OPEN accounts, '...winston'?

IIRC you quite recently claimed that you have eleven (11) different
Microsoft Accounts.

*WHY*?

Are you posting with 11 different 'nyms' on the Microsoft Answers
groups? Using 'socks' in other words?

For once in your life, BE HONEST!

Btw, does everyone on this group know that you are the Moderator of the
User2User group at Annexcafe? You COULD put this link in your signature
he http://www.annexcafe.com/homepage.cf...eral.user2user

I've often wondered why you don't publicize this fact on the Answers
group either.

Are you ashamed of being connected with that particular server - or it's
owner? Please explain. All I have EVER sought is the truth!

Surely you've heard of an expression along the lines of 'one bad apple
can spoil the barrel'?

How familiar are you with James A Eshelman and his connection with
Aleister Crowley's ethos? Many folk consider Crowley "Pure Evil"!

You are welcome to explore Eshelman's website, here, too!

This group doesn't have "stalking" in the charter.

Now, go away.

One question.

Why would anyone ask for help and advice *here*, on Usenet, when they
have access to a MUCH safer environment? Viz-a-viz .....

Quote:

From the simplest form of end-user tips and tricks to the most complex
computer system setup, the contributing posters of this group provide
unparalleled one-on-one (and sometimes many-on-one) tech support advice
available anywhere on the Net. No other place exists in cyberspace that
compares with the wealth of computer software, hardware and Internet
knowledge that flows from this group — at least not for free!

Whether you're experiencing a moment of "how do I find?," reformatting a
hard drive or building a complete super-charged system, User2User will
undoubtedly hook you into the technical world and make you keep coming
back for more. In contrast to many other tech help groups that allow no
HTML, no fun, no frills and no frolicking, User2User provides a friendly
and open environment where no question is too large or too small. Not
only do the members lend individualized assistance and support, they'll
remind you that "life's too short to sweat the small stuff," most likely
helping you find a smile or two along the way!

Whether you're a beginner or an expert, this group provides informative
topics of discussions, great resources and bargains on the net, but best
of all, they provide solutions for almost any computer-related issue in
their own friendly and unique way.

One question.

You are full of questions, questions
which are not on-topic for alt.windows7.general.

Not even vaguely related to alt.windows7.general.

That's true, Paul.

Would it help if I put 'OT' at the beginning of a thread?

Whilst I'm here, though .....

On this page there is a list of those folk who support Annexcafe
financially: http://www.annexcafe.com/supportingmembers.cfm

You'll note that '...winston' is NOT one of the accredited supporters.

Maybe you like to ask him why that might be? As you've noticed, he
refuses to communicate with me. Mind you, there's no mention of Ishie
either! She's told me in a personal email that SHE has been paying to
keep the newsgroups running for the past three years! It's all a bit of
a puzzle.

Each of the groups have a charter and a main topic.

Using an "OT" tag, is not a license to sporge, crap
flood, insert noise, or otherwise make a mess of the
group. The definition of "OT" is "slightly off topic
but still within the same area as the main charter
topic of discussion". That's "slightly" off topic,
not "way off" topic. If you make everyone in the
group angry enough to wring your neck, that's
"way off topic".

For example, if my copy of Firefox is not working
in Windows 7, people might quite rightly complain
that I should take it to the Mozilla support forum.
If I put "[OT] Recent Win7 update broke my Firefox",
then the topic discussed is Firefox, but the
topic isn't that far removed from the OS. There
might be a root cause in the OS, the subject may have
some overlap between the two groups or forums.

If a person were to drop a hundred different
chocolate chip cookie recipes into the group,
that's not [OT], that's a crap flood.

You can find all sorts of articles on Wiki,
giving descriptive terms for ways to
disrupt USENET. We don't need this kind
of disruption.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sporge

If you keep it up, you will be nominated
for an alt.usenet.kook monthly award. And
there is some tough competition, such as the
insane university professor (who eventually
disappeared from USENET - we assume when this
happens, that the person got treatment or
there was an intervention - I think his
students noticed... :-) ) Genuine kooks
receive rewards.
