I have no money for a tv or new laptop.
How do I view youtube videos that are html5 ? Like the news streams. |

I switched to Media Player Classic and haven't had any trouble. |

I don't like to enable script and if I want to see a video it's likely I'll want to watch it more than once, so I just use youtube-dl. I've rarely watched a video via streaming, so I wasn't actually aware that it was a problem in XP. I'm curious as to exactly what part doesn't work in older browsers. So-called HTML5 isn't new. Also, I don't know if this will help, but you might try spoofing the userAgent. A surprising number of sites just filter out anyone without at least Win7 and a recent browser version. |
