No, I'm not going to read all ten for you.

Just face it, you are not going to convince these idiots to do the
simple "tried and true" things. Wear face masks, social distance, extra
care hygiene, to control spread of a *communicable* disease

a) in order NOT to overwhelm the healthcare system

b) get REAL testing and tracing in place to KNOW who has it and who doesn't

c) buy time for vaccine and/or cure

Because of a stubborn minority we are doomed to take the stupid route
where we can be the country that kills the most people and does extra
damage to our economy as a bonus. If only if the dumb ones would get
infected...

Yes, the stupidity seems to be spreading here in Canada, Too much
stupidity and negativity on social media.

Would be Justice well served if the nosayers and non believers all got a
dose of it, then they might stop and reflect on their criminal stupidity.

FYI: That link very much appears to be Chinese propaganda!

Yeah, that's thelancet. Fullachinks. Obviously.

Answer me this timmy. If this was "designed",
why is it so ****-poor in function ? If I was
engineering a bioweapon, I'd want R=25 and
no amount of masks in the room would stop it.
I'd start with Measles, and put extra arms and
legs on it.

And if this was an accidental release, why would
you be working on or with such ****-poor materials ???
Wouldn't you start with Smallpox, Ebola, Marburg,
Measles, things that kill or things that spread ?

This isn't nearly lethal enough.

The lab in Wuhan isn't a military lab. It's hard
to say what it is exactly, because it got some
American funding, and it's doing work Americans
are not allowed to do. When you propose work
in this area, for research, there are a set of
protocols used to judge the risks involved,
and you would be denied permission to proceed.
That wasn't a problem with the Wuhan lab. Then
the question is, how good are the people in the
Wuhan lab, and the diplomatic cables suggested
they "needed help". Which means "not very good".
But we don't know in what way they were deficient.

This article explains that.

https://thediplomat.com/2020/05/why-...ial-wuhan-lab/

"According to Newsweek, funding for the WIV occurred
in two phases. The first took place from 2014 to 2019,
through a $3.7 million project for collecting and
studying bat coronaviruses.

This work was largely led by Dr. Zhengli Shi, known
to many as "batwoman" for her years investigating
caves in search of new bat viruses."

Your tireless patience is impressive. But I'm
thinking maybe we can fix Bucky up with T.
With any luck they'll walk off into their right-wing
sunset together, both ecstatic that they finally
found someone who realizes that the ghosts of
Ted Kennedy, Hillary Clinton and FDR have been
opening their mail.

(I would have added a Canadian to that list, but
you only seem to have moderates and Trudeaus
up there.)

Australia and other places too. Sad since you did the right-thing from
the start. Not to put on the tin-foil hat but real evidence these stupid
and negative stories are being push by our Tangerine Tyrant's best buddy.

More of these numbskulls are post vids lamenting, but the cranks are
more sensationally and more attractive for the rating-hungry media.

Naw, we have plenty of our own idiots and submorons, an article in the
Canadian Press about 8 hours ago reports that 2 groups of about 22,000
each of these moronic idiots have sprung up in Montreal Quebec, who are
endangering other people by not wearing masks and following the proper
health rules.
You could use them to augment the Bucky ad T set.

On second thought, Quebec is always talking about separating from
Canada, Well now would be a hell of a good time for them to do so, I
would vote for that in a blink.

So,, it appearse that M$ is starting to kill IE.

I don't use IE, but a unhappy friend does. She is computer
cballenged, so I will set her up with a differnt browser.

What version of windowV 10 Pro do you have?
I have Windows 10 Pro version 2004 19041.388 and internet explorer is
still functional.

Rene
Interesting.... I have the same version. I suspect one of the
quality updates pulled it. Only the iexplore executable was removed.
from each of the program folders (932bit and 64bit) The two IE program
folders are otherwise intact.

iexplore.exe doesn't exist anywhere on this computer.

I also note that in Settings APS defaults, the choice for Internet
Explorer has been replace by Edge. So, now Edge is listed twice. The
first is annotated as recommended. The second has no notation. Choose
either one and get Edge.

Oh well, I use Google, sp all that doesn't affect me. But, my
curiosity lingers.

Ben

Does this sequence still work on your machine ?

Right-click Start : Run : control
Programs and Features (control panel)
Windows Features
Check that Internet Explorer 11 tick box is still ticked

The "removal" of IE11 does not remove the folder,
because some part of that folder may still be in usage.

The Internet Explorer 11 tick box in Windows Features,
normally controls "iexplore.exe" . If the Internet Explorer
line is removed in Windows Features, that would be a sign
the removal is permanent.

Paul

Sorry for late reply.

I took those steps. Internet explore is indeed gone. iexplore.exe is
missing in it's program directory/folder. The remaing filesin the
folder are for other Windows proceses.

I haven't read the rest of this thread yet. Hopefully, someone else
found the same results. I don't want to be lonely!

Repair Install and bring it back.

Insert your Windows 10 2004 DVD, and run the setup.exe on it.

Or, if you have the Windows 10 ISO file for burning a DVD,
you can right click that and select "Mount" from the context
menu. This will create a virtual optical drive and a new
drive letter will appear. Navigate to that letter and
run setup.exe from there.

All your files and programs should remain unchanged.

See if the Control Panels : Programs and Features : Windows Features
has an IE11 tick box.

Leave the network cable unplugged, so that the Cumulative patch
for the 19041.xxx install is not received, which will give you
a fair chance to see if IE11 materials are actually there at
that point. If you leave the network cable connected during the
install, it allows too much interference from Microsoft.

Once you've had a good look around and did your best to restore
it, reconnect the network cable.

At that point (Microsoft hasn't had a chance to interfere yet,
you can also delay the presentation of updates with the button
in Windows Update.
