After restore a full backup, I can't log on my system!
Try booting the computer in Safe Mode and log on to the Adminstrator account. You should be able to access the User Accounts. Try changing the password for the problem account, and check the Local Users and Groups propertiess to ensure that your account is listed in the proper groups. If that fails, see this KB Article: http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;313322 A User Logon Request Is Rejected Without Any Messages -- Doug Knox, MS-MVP Windows XP/ Windows Smart Display Win 95/98/Me/XP Tweaks and Fixes http://www.dougknox.com -------------------------------- Associate Expert ExpertZone - http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone -------------------------------- Please reply only to the newsgroup so all may benefit. Unsolicited e-mail is not answered. "35701K0" wrote in message news Hello. After a full restore of my main partition from a Norton Ghost 2003 image file, all seemed to be going well. Until after introducing user name and password, it spitted me to login screen again... In my fast machine, I barely could see a polite "storing your config etc." message before returning to login screen. No matter as admin, user or whatsoever. Booting with the original install cd in recover console, it no asked me for passwords. Symply denied me access to \Documents and Settings folder... I had FAT32 filesystem, cos I was burned in the past with NTFS... Mi OS is Windows XP Pro SP1 I hope this will be a silly thing with a silly solution. Thanks for your time and have a good day. |
