Default WJView Error

I checked jview in the command prompt. It looks like it
is there and working. Should I still update? Which
update is it? I couldn't find one that says "java
virtual machine".

You should go to run,type:cmd
In cmd prompt type:jview
See what it says,jview is java virtual machine,theres
a download in windows update for it,or try the update
catalog and reinstall it.

When I start up my computer, I receive this message:

WJView Error: Could not execute main. The system could
not find the file specified.

I scanned all tabs in msconfig for "wjview" entries,

but
did not find any. Is there something else I can try?

Default WJView Error

To remove this do the following

(First Step)
*Goto StartRunType "msconfig" - Select the Startup tab.
*Find "wjview" in the list

If you find any "wjview" entries, try disabling the Wjview startup component
and locate any associated folders identified in Msconfig that you might need
to delete to determine whether that solves the problem.

(If That Doesn't Work)
To delete the Wjview entries rather than disabling them (and to check under
non-XP OSs), perform the following steps:

*Goto StartRunType "regedit"
*Goto }HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Cur rentVersion\Run}
and {HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run
registry subkeys}

Remove the invalid Wjview entries.
