Default Kaspersky Internet Security screwed after 1803

Might be just me but noticed that KIS icon wasn't showing after the
Spring update yesterday, tried starting it, the circle circled a few
seconds then stopped.

Looked in settings and was told it was Snoozing and to click to open,
again nothing happened.

Reverted to previous Windows and KIS is back working.

Just a warning if you use KIS you may have problems.

I might have tried to remove then re-install KIS from scratch.

I might when I've more time although as a fan of Freecell I don't like
the updated working of the one on 1803.

That's why I am going to do a clean install with 1803's ISO. Anyway,
only when you could afford the time.

Just had the 1803 upgrade. No problems with KIS. Works flawlessly.
The only problem I had with the upgrade is a windows.old folder which I
can't delete, and the reappearance of the shortcut arrows in my icons.

You need to use disk cleanup to remove Windows.old

Great!
Thanks, Rene. Even with Linux booted from an USB stick I wasn't able to
delete all files from the Windows.old folder.

LOL, today was my eldest granddaughter's thirteenth birthday party so no
messing with the computer.

It was haranguing me to update so I let it, again, but this time after a
look at the Kaspersky site I removed the VPN thing and switched off KIS
and let it get on with the update.

I had a look several hours later and it had updated and KIS seems to be
working as usual.

Still don't like the new Freecall though.
