Default Outlook Express Spell Check

We just set up a customer with Win XP SP3

with all service packs.

She cannot get her spell check to work.

All the options are cheked in OE.

Is there anything we are missing?

OE 6 does not come with it's own spell check. You need Word or an MS Office
program, pre 2007. The spell checker in Works 4 through 6 will work with OE,
but not other editions. If you do not have such a program, you can download
a free spell check at one of these sites.

Vampirefo Spell Check.

TinySpell:

Default Outlook Express Spell Check

Outlook Express has always used the spell checker from Microsoft Word.
No Word--no spell check. (And in the case of Word 2007 it doesn't matter
because Word 2007's spell checker doesn't work with Outlook Express.)

Your solution is to Google for a third party spell checker that
integrates with Outlook Express.
