Default FAX Software for XP?

Maybe this is slightly off topic, but not far.
I bought HotFaxMessageCenter years ago and like it a lot.
But I made the mistake of switching from DSL to AT&T U-Verse
and they (and the software vendor) tell me they can't be made to work
together. That's not the only 'feature' I lost by going to a system with
higher speed (which I did not need).

Can someone suggest a FAXing package I can install in XP/Home that will
work with U-Verse? Thanks.
