Windows Live Messenger 8.0 versus MSN Messenger 7.50
I know there was a difference between Windows Messenger & MSN Messenger...
Will there be a new MSN Messenger or Does Windows Live Messenger 8.0 replace both Windows Messenger & MSN Messenger? I'm so confused.... Please explain... Chasbo

Windows Live Messenger 8.0 versus MSN Messenger 7.50

MSN products were rebranded as "Windows Live". As such, Windows Live Messenger 8.0 is in fact just MSN Messenger 8.0; it does not replace Windows Messenger nor have any major significance to any product line beyond the name.
