Windows Live Messenger 8.0 versus MSN Messenger 7.50
I know there was a difference between Windows Messenger & MSN Messenger...
Will there be a new MSN Messenger or Does Windows Live Messenger 8.0 replace both Windows Messenger & MSN Messenger? I'm so confused.... Please explain... Chasbo |

Windows Live Messenger 8.0 versus MSN Messenger 7.50
Greetings,
MSN products were rebranded as "Windows Live". As such, Windows Live Messenger 8.0 is in fact just MSN Messenger 8.0; it does not replace Windows Messenger nor have any major significance to any product line beyond the name. And yes, I agree, the rebranding is confusing and pointless. -- Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger/MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com All posts unless otherwise specified are (c) 2006 Jonathan Kay.
