Default No golden bar shown at the top and can't download file

I tried to install adobe flash player to my Windows XP SP2 laptop by
following the steps.
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/downl...romoi d=DINNK

However, after I press "Agree and install now", I moved into
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/downl...n/1/index.html

However, I didn't see the golden bar at the top such as "The site might
require the following ActiveX control ...". No message shows anything was
blocked. Nothing! It is wierd, and I guess my registration table might be
modified by some software without my attention. Any idea to solve my
problem?

Thank you very much.

Use the uninstaller to remove all versions then install the msi:

Adobe Flash Player 10.0.12.36 5MB
http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flas...0_active_x.msi or:
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get...0_active_x.msi

Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller
