Default System Restore

When I do a System Restore it goes thru its usual steps and after rebooting
itself it says that it can not restore to that restore point.

I even tried on some earlier restore points and got the same message. Does
using
True Image to create clone disks or to restore from them maybe causing my
problem?

If not what?

Thanking.
