We have managed to lose our task bar. How can we get it back?

Boot into safe mode (turn off the pc, then keep tapping the f8 button
whilst booting) choose safe mode from the menu, then after it boots up
just click startturn off computerrestart, that normally does it. Failing
that restore to an earlier time using system restore.
