Default system information not working

system information can't access Window Management Instrumentation Software.
Management file may be moved or missing. Recently crashed hard drive. New
hard drive and restored information using Danz Retrospect software. Slowly
going thru glitches found after restore. Saw previous post referring to
index.dat and I do have mine.
