cyclic redundancy
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyclic_redundancy_check
Basically means what was read wasn't accurate when placed in memory, or when written to a target but not accurate compared to what is in memory. Its an I/O problem related to either the source or target of the data (HD/CD/DVD), the cable to the Ide/scsi/usb/firewire otherwise controller port, the RAM itself, or inaccurate timing on the motherboard, or RF interference on a data cable. What you're doing with the PC at the time may help provide enough clues for an answer. That was not provided, so you have no solution provided. -- Jonny "jay" wrote in message ... what is acyclic redundancy and how do i fix this problem thanks |
