Reinstalling TCP/IP on XP
Problem is on XP Home. It doesn't get an IP assigned to it, and the response to ping 192.168.2.1 is similar to Pinging àÉÇ with 32 bytes of data: So I used "netsh int ip reset" but no change. Then I tried the method in the KB for Server 2003 to uninstall it first, but it won't reinstall. Next I was going to try sfc and reapplying SP3. I just wanted to ask if there's another option I haven't thought of. -- Reply in group, but if emailing add one more zero, and remove the last word. |
