I did put Regsvr32 /u RSABase.dll in and hit ok.... It did not work I got the
following error message 'LoadLibrary ('RSABase.dll") failed - The specified
module could not be found.

"JS" wrote:

In step 2 of method #3
Start/Run and enter: Regsvr32 /u RSABase.dll

Note there should be space between:
Regsvr32 and the /u and the RSABase.dll

If you entered: Regsvr32 /u RSABase.dll
correctly the following RegSvr32 message should appear:
"DllUnregisterServer in RSABase.dll succeeded."

Click OK.

Then complete the remaining part of the instructions in
method #3 as listed below.

Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type: Regsvr32 RSABase.dll
and then click OK.

The following RegSvr32 message appears:
"DllRegisterServer in RSABase.dll succeeded. "
Click OK.

Restart Internet Explorer, and then determine if the problem is fixed.
If the problem is not fixed, proceed to the next method.

Okay thank you it seems my restore is fixed but I am still left with the
auto
complete problem. I tried the instructions of 'AutoComplete Does Not Save
Username and Password' and when I got to Method 3: I tried to run it and
it
gave me the message that it couldn't find Regsvr32/u file. I don't know
what
to do about it and I sure miss it as I enter a lot of programs that

Default Please help with Auto Complete

IE8 is still a BETA product and has bugs,
I don't know if autocomplete works or not when using IE8.

I suggest you post your problem to the IE8 group named:
microsoft.public.internetexplorer.beta

Tell them your problem, what version of IE you are
currently using (IE*), what version of IE your where using
when the problem first started.

They may be able to help you or they may suggest
you uninstall IE8 and use IE7 or IE6.

Good luck, sorry but I have no IE8 experience.
