Taskbar at side of desktop
XP SP3 one user profile keeps getting what looks like an unwanted traskbar
at the left of the desktop. But it isn't a taskbar - there is no right click option, can't move or drag it or do anything with its. Look like this: http://www.ldwilmer.pwp.blueyonder.c...%20desktop.jpg Any suggestions what's causing this please? Thanks |

To get rid of it, go to Doug Knox's site, http://www.dougknox.com. Taskbar at side of desktop
Many thanks, that's the one.
Most of the battle is knowing what these things are caused - "Common Tasks Bar" indeed, never heard of it! Had abandoned that user profile and created a new one - will be interesting to see if the prob still happens with no user messing about - may even find out what caused it. thanks "Ken Blake, MVP" wrote in message ...
